Undergraduate Program in Rehabilitative Services

About the Program

Mission

The Mission of the Rehabilitative Services program is to prepare graduates to work in a variety of occupations where they will advance the independence, integration, and full participation of individuals with disabilities and others with service needs both in the workforce and in the community.

Curriculum

The Rehabilitative Services Program is a track in the Bachelor of Health Science Major. Students in the Rehabilitative Services program take courses in the BHS curriculum as well as courses in specific topics in rehabilitation. Approved electives complete the degree. Students also have the opportunity to gain real-world experience through practicum and internship courses. In these courses, students receive academic credit for their volunteer work in clinical sites in the Health Center and in the local community.
