MHS in Rehabilitation Counseling Academic Programs of Study

The sequence of courses in the Master's program is designed for students entering in the Fall semester. Students entering the program in the Spring or Summer will have modified schedules due to prerequisite requirements.

Individual programs of study may vary depending upon the student's ultimate career goal. Students intending to pursue mental health counselor licensure (FL) will enroll in certain coursework required by the licensing body and attend an additional semester. Students pursuing other areas of credentialing (Certified Vocational Evaluator or Certified Case Manager, for example) will develop plans of study that meet the requirements of those credentialing bodies.
